Nelson Street Cycleway

The ‘Pink Path’ is an Auckland iconic, award-winning new cycleway bridge over Spaghetti Junction.

Construction of the new cycleway involved widening of the Canada St footpath, construction of an elevated steel bridge from Canada Street leading to a new bridge crossing SH1, an upgrade of the old Nelson Street off-ramp and upgrades of both the Nelson/Union and Hobson/Union Street intersections.
